The Melton Family Web Ring
I created this ring to help Melton Researchers connect with cousins and to help others find more links with Melton information. I hope you find helpful information throughout the sites.

Qualifications For The Ring
Qualifications are simple. You must have a web site with genealogy or history or information containing the surname Melton in it. The page you submit must have Melton genealogy or an obvious link to the Melton genealogy on it in order for others to find your Melton information faster. Name variations are acceptable i.e., Melton, Meltin, Meltan, Melten, or Milton.  As the ring master, I will visit your page to make sure the ring is in place before adding it to the ring. Pages will not be entered into the ring without Melton genealogy on them, that's all I ask.

If you'd like to join, we'd love to have you. You can use the "submit site" link to the right.  After you submit your page come back here for further instructions.  When you submit your page it will reamin in the queue for 3 weeks or until the ring is place on the page.  If after 3 weeks the ring is not placed on the page, that page will automatically expire from the queue.  This is an automatic response from the web ring system, but you may always re-submit your page.

Further Instructions
After that is done you will need to copy the graphic above and the code you need to place on your web page. Right click on the image and save it to your disk and remember to upload it to your server where your web site is.  Click on one of the links on the right to copy the code you desire for your page. When your done, if I haven't already entered it, contact me and let me know you have rhe ring in place. Once you've uploaded the graphic and placed the html code on your page EMAIL ME and let me know you're ready so I can look at your page and add you to The Melton Family Ring list, remember your page will only be in the queue for 3 weeks, after that it will expire from the queue automatically.  You will receive confirmation once your page is added.
